Read the book "Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World". After he died his descendants ruled many other empires in China, India, etc.

Genghis Con conguered most of asia and europe.
So i would't doubt it.

Go to the title "Claimed descendants of Genghis Khan" in that article, and you'll find your answer. Just a side note, people can trace their lineage back to the mongolians during the rule of the mongolian empire because of the reduced population in the world.

As for "some indian people" it is best to be more specific next time, and read up more about the people involved before asking such a question. The history of that time period is complex and still creates sides amongst people, best not to do that.
