Deadliest Warrior is a sick show! I think your match ups are awesome! I hope there is another season for sure…

KarmaVictim95 @ 10:14 am

I think season two should have the same people and groups and maybe others, just against different people and show their different weapons.

yeah i love the show too. i have seen every episode and i really do like it. well since they didnt do too many heros vs. heros i dont know about your list because of a lot of the famous people on it. Hannibal probly wouldnt work because it was his elephants that was such a force on the battlefield that led him to success until he was defeated by Scipio. The only problem with your list too is that you matched up a lot of generals from the same time period and that wouldnt really work out well. But other than that your list is very creative and it might work pretty well. nice job on that because its hard to come up with this stuff.

now for what i think would be cool:

i want to see a Roman Legionnaire vs. another warrior (havnt thought of which one) your list is good but thats what i came up with

I like the show allot but wish they didn't dwell so much on weapons. The skill and training of the groups makes a huge difference as well. For instance showlin monks vs mindless head hunters. Although the monks won the margin should have been wider in my opinion.

Season 2 has not yet been confirmed, but, due to high ratings and intriguing content, I solemnly believe that SpikeTV will green-light a 2nd season soon!

Here would be some interesting matchups for a season 2 in my opinion (although, in terms of matchups, I switched the Rajput and Aborigine spots since that switch makes for two more interesting/even/closer battles in my opinion):

Cultures -
Aztec vs. Rajput [My edge: Rajput]
Carthaginian w/ war elephant vs. Mongol w/ war horse {animals add an interesting element to the battle overall} [My edge: Carthaginian]
Germanic Barbarian vs. Australian Aborigine [My edge: Aborigine]
Janissary vs. Cossack [My edge: Janissary]
Koa vs. Inca [My edge: Inca]

Guerillas -
Afrikaner Boer(s) vs. Chinese Triad [My edge: Boers]
Marine Force Recon vs. Nazi Wehrmacht [My edge: Wehrmacht]
M-26-7 (specfically: Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Raul Castro, Huber Matos and Camilo Cienfuegos) vs. James-Younger Gang (specifically: Jesse James, Frank James, Cole Younger, Jim Younger and Clell Miller) [My edge: M-26-7]

Warriors -
Alexander the Great vs. Cyrus the Great [My edge: Alexander the Great]
Attila the Hun vs. Saladin [My edge: Saladin]
King Arthur vs. Gustavus Adolphus [My edge: King Arthur]

A wild card matchup for thought -
Ivan the Terrible vs. Vlad the Impaler

Once they run out of matchup ideas for the show (which is virtually inevitable), they can always resort to a winners' bracket-style playoff to determine who is the **Deadliest Warrior**!
(examples: Cultures - Apache vs. Samurai, Spartan vs. Pirate and etc.; Guerillas - Mafia vs. Spetsnaz, IRA vs. [tbd] and etc.; Warriors - William Wallace vs. [tbd] and etc.)

Also, they should make a Deadliest Warrior video game once all of this is done in my opinion.
