do the detroit tigers make the playoffs?

they are pretty much the same team as last year…
They have as good of a chance as anyone else in the AL Central. The AL Central was the weakest division last season and it looks as if it will again be the weakest division in baseball. You can't look at this division and clearly pick one or two teams that will have a chance to make the playoffs. Personally I see the Kansas City Royals winning the AL Central this season (you heard it here first).
Same kind of team as last year and their lack of starting pitching will keep them out of any serious playoff run.
Since it's only been 10 games & Tigers are off to a better start but I say they don't win division & miss the play offs cause the wild card winner will come from the AL East
