Frankenstein is a classic! Love it.
Frankenstien is really good. The movies are all different so dont rely on them to pass a test. I own Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
I havent read Genghis Khan but I think it would be a good read. Give all books a try. Maybe read them before a little before the assignments start. That way its not required that you read so many pages on one particular night.
Frankenstein - lots of people like this book, but I found it Booooring. Dracula is a *much* better story.
Haven't read the other two, but the GK book sounds really interesting - one of the many figures in history that is normally given short shrift in American schools.
I hope this helps.
Jim,
Havent read Genghis Khan. But Frankenstein is a master work. Did you know Mary Shelley was 18 when she wrote it? I have written two very successful academic papers on it. It is well worth the read. There is nothing "dry or boring" about it. Just think - it was written by someone almost the same age as you. How amazing is that? Just take it nice and slow and you CAN do it. If you have questions, let me know. I have taught it several times. Pax - C

The only one I have read is that classic you mentioned on first place and I loved it, I hardly could believe that was written by a woman of the turn of the century; i do not mean that a woman cannot write, but she shows such a knowledge of the human body, knowledge that in those days was reserved for men.
From Genghis Khan, I know more from reading History then the book you mention.
I wish you a good time, reading is always fun.
Frankenstein was a great book. Hope to read the others in the future.
