How do I get cuckleburs off a horses face?
Julie asked:
Ci? is referring to horses that I mentioned in my last question. One of the horses has its cuckleburs & front, on his brake. Pu? anyone tell me a way to get them out without losing the trust of the horses?

Put on some gloves and pluck them off quickly. Then give the horse some oats.
Sorry…I know a bit about horses but don't know what cuckleburs are. Message me with details. Maybe I can help??
Just rub her face and pull it off, then rub her face again.
I would just use a comb, it pulls through the hair without pulling the hair and lifts and pulls off the cuckleburs in one sweep. I use the same thing to get the stickers out of my dogs' hair. Be sure and rub her face again after you are all through
brush and oil mil lady……brush and oil
Put on some gloves or your the one going to get poked, and just take your time , your horse will be glad to be rid of them.
I'm not so smart- whatsa cuckleburr? Tell me what it is, then I'll answer!
i wouldnt think you would lose a trust by taking them off..
Use cowboy magic detangler. It works wonderfully and smells awesome.
If shes head shy just coax her. you should be able to get them off without problem
baby oil let stand and brush out
put a little baby oil on the burs. they will lose their hold and you can take them off without your horse even noticing.
I use gloves, mane and tail conditioner and a comb…then treats afterwards.
