u know i love how TV and many writers make Kahn to to be a barbarian but in all accounts he wasn't. in fact Kahn was known to let of a defeated army join his ranks he even paid them the same rates as his own men. and when he took a city he didn't treat them as slaves they were treated as weal as his home city was in fact they were even able to keep their own faiths.
2 million in one day? he must have used an atomic bomb!
i don't think it's possible with conventional army in that time to kill that number of soldiers and civilians.. you need a number of army much greater than 2 million.. without communication devices like today, i think it's impossible to command the army this huge
let aside to count their ears!
I'm sorry i don't know Genghis Khan history, but i think the number is ridiculous
That's impossible. No city in the world in the 13th century had 2 million people… let alone the time it would take to kill 2 million people using swords and arrows.
It took the Nazis 6 years to kill 6 million Jews and that was systematic genoicide.
Perhaps, in the 80 odd years that the Mongols were rampaging across Asia and Europe they killed 2 million people total.
But in one day, impossible.
