Nothing wrong with it, if it is okay in their culture.

Well, the funny thing is, the meat you buy over there is fresher, and the buyer knows more about it, than any "FDA" approved meat you might buy in the US. In a lot of cases, they buy directly from the source. In North America, the buyer usually knows very little about the meat - where it came from, what it was fed, whether any 'additional' agents were used in its production, how healthy the animal was. Over there they buy it and slaughter it, or it's freshly slaughtered before being brought to the market, and there is usually direct communication with the suppliers (or it is much easier to do so). Also no chemicals, preservatives, growth pheromones or antibiotics have been used on the meat, so it is safe, and the FDA is a questionable organization, to say the least.

stop stereotyping, asians aren't the only ones who eats dogs. in fact, most asians probably never eaten dog before. yes they eat it, but they don't eat dog & cats daily. i have never heard of asians eating cat before o_O.

I bet in your country you people probably eat something unusual as well, like BEES & COW BRAINS & weird animal intestines. now those are nasty D:

Is it true that Mexicans eat a lot of beans and rice?

Wow,that's hard core. I don't know what to say about that. I heard the Spanish, Chileans and many other Hispanics

I'm Italian, and we don't do that, all the Italians I've met have good pasta and tomatoes to eat.

According to the Chinese ancient food culture, dog meats can help people's body warm up in winter, so, dog meats mostly served in winter.

They eat cat far less than eating dogs, probably because of the smell from the cat meat.

It is the things that I am extremely unhappy with as being a Chinese.

btw, Koreans too.

Some people in China eat dog - not many. Very few eat cat.

Dog is popular in the south in Guangdong and Guangxi and in Jilin province on the border with N. Korea. It is mainly eaten in the winter as many Chinese believe that it is a warming food.

Horse is eaten all over the world. Why pick on China?

There is no difference between eating dog or horse than eating any other animal. Any taboo is purely emotional - not rational.

Why are you assuming that dog or horse meat is not clean? There is no logic to that, at all.
