You citing countries with a long history of Tierney, socialism, communism, 2 class system - - - to try to prove what?
The IPCC is a UN organization. Only scientists who support man made global warming are permitted in this group. If scientists who are members change their views about it, they are expelled. They only allow peer reviews by other members of the IPCC. In the treaty, UN Agenda 21, where all of this started in 1992, it states that no other science will be tolerated.
Now, I'm no genius, but I know enough to say that real science is based on proof and scrutiny by many different scientists, not just those who belong to a special group. This is a red flag that should be ignored at your own peril. For what they are asking of the world, they should be ready and willing to present their algorithms and methods to the whole realm of scientists who are knowledgeable and have actually studied the same kinds of evidence. Why you people argue about that is beyond my comprehension.
How do you feel about being blackmailed into paying billions of dollars to the countries who ended up with your jobs? Why should we fund their efforts toward environmentalism? Shouldn't the corporations who moved there have to pay for that? Why would the USA pay for corporations who move out of this country or any other to be environmentally friendly. Its theirs to pay, not ours. They get the profits, not us. Its simple extortion based on guilt for something that hasn't even been proven by the larger scientific community. Read about the scientists who were once members of the IPCC who have changed their minds.
We thought that science was about the pursuit of truth. Then we became perplexed at how quickly scientists have prostituted themselves in the service of political agendas. We have seen the unedifying spectacle of scientists refusing to share their data, fiddling their results, and resorting to ad hominem attacks on those who have exposed their work to be fraudulent. We have seen the Royal Society becoming a shamelessly crude advocacy society. We have seen President Obama choosing notorious climate alarmists and liars to be his personal advisors. We have seen the peer review process and journal editors colluding to prevent publication of results that do not serve the politically-correct agenda, and scientists refusing to consider results that demolish their pet theories.
What is going on is that science is no longer what we thought it was. It is now a tool in the hands of socialists, and the smart money is flowing into the pockets of ‘scientists’ who will serve their agenda. Follow the money. Whilst traditional physics and chemistry departments are closing in British universities, and there is a shortage of science teachers, there is an abundance of cash being poured into departments that will serve socialist ends, and no shortage of acolytes desirous to use this as a route to power. o_O
The 2nd & 3rd answers took the words out of my mouth & then some, 3 cheers for these answers.
