Wow, the price is very low as far as backpacks go. I can't say that I've heard of the company before. I'm familiar with Kelty, REI, North Face, Osprey, and Gregory. Of those, Kelty is normally the lowest in price.

It's hard to comment on a backpack w/o actually seeing it and looking at the construction. I'd recommend buying it, checking it out and if you don't think it will work for you, you can return it.

You get what you pay for. I`ve never heard of a CusCus pack lasting an extended trip. Go with a Kelty, Osprey, Mountain Hardwear, Gregory, Lowe Alpine. Name brand backpackswith great reputations. Your best bet would be to go to an outdoor store: REI, EMS, Campmor and tell the backpacking employee what you are doing and list the items you need. Stay away from no name bargain packs online. Look to spend at least $100 for an ok backpack, I`d even say $120

REI is the way to go. How can you beat a lifetime gaurantee on all merchandise? I only bought one major item from REI that didn't perform, a tent that collapsed on us in high winds. The tent was irreparably damaged and had been used for several years, but REI cheerfully refunded the entire purchase price. REI has been my #1 gear supplier and advisory for nearly half a century. For just a few dollars more you have the REI gaurantee of quality.

I don't see a sleeping pad on your list. Make sure the guides are supplying these. The coldness of the earth will make your body lose thermal energy faster than your metabolism can compensate. Sorry, that means you will freeze to death. I always take ear plugs camping because the wind in my ears is painful even in warm weather. For that climate I'd also bring some heavy duty emolient to moisturize lips and hands at night. Don't forget mittens over your gloves. Your fingers like to cuddle and keep each other warm. I am green with envy.
