You should wait tables. This is where you are going to make the most money working in a resturant. Cashiers don't make a lot & greeters don't either but if you are a waiter do a great job you can get really good tips from your customers.

a cashier position is for anyone that can deal with customers and their B.S. that they sometimes think other people should deal with… however… that position will more than likely start out at minimum wage. If you would like a better paying position, then i suggest that a position as a waiter would bring in a little more money as you will get tips (the base salary for a waiter would be a little less than minimum wage but tips make up for that and often exceed the average minimum wage)

Try a grocery store. Be willing to work evenings as a courtesy clerk or doing clean-up. They seem to like to have the guys on in the evenings. You may even be hired as a checker.

Well most places need a cook, severs, hostters/cashier, and a dishwasher. When starting off they will probly give you a 90-day grace period (that is every day you work not 3 months) in case you screw up.
