Of course, there is always swearing the books that i read. However, in the series of Artemis Fowl the only swearing you'll see will be in gnomish. This is one is very good and is most definitely for teens. Of course it is fantasy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
