What is the designation given to communities of Vikings?

I 'm. interested to know what the name of a community would be Vikings. I know that lots of people in Russia and Mongolia and America are called historical Tribes and communities of Scotland are (naturally) clan. What would be the Vikings? Tribe of Vikings doesn 'sound right t. The clan is probably better, but I can 't find all the appointment of what would be the clan. Can anyone help?
