Call the camp up and ask them and they should be able to help you know what to bring. Since you are bringing your own horse, you need to know if they provide any equipment or if you need to bring it all. I would think, though, that you'd need to bring all your horse's own stuff.

You should defiantly bring your grooming supplies and any other stuff you have for your horse. Call the camp and see if they supply you with a saddle, saddle blanket, adn anything else. If not, then bring your pad, saddle, hat, and anything else.

Well, to start, for how long are you going? At my camp for two weeks you take 14 shirts and shorts, and the same for undies and socks. You should take rain gear, and definitely some sweat pants/shirts, and fleeces. You'd be surprised how cold it can get in the mornings. Yes, or course take you bridle, and take your saddle too. Take all of you grooming stuff, and anything he goes out in in the summer(but they usually wont put it on) take any martingales, anything. Or if he takes meds or anything like that. But you camp will probably send a packing list with conformation that you have been registered. Keep in mind, you horse will not be treated like he's at a five star hotel, he will be treated like a camp horse. Good luck and have fun!!!!!!

Of course you need to bring tack for riding camp. If you want you can bring grooming supplies and sponges and stuff like that, but you should call them because they may or may not have that stuff at camp. you should bring two pairs of pj's, a a shirt or two for each day. If you are going for 2 weeks and they have laundry service there over the weekend only bring half the stuff. Bring riding boots and chaps if you use them. And riding pants. If they allow you, you can also bring small snacks. Bring sheets or a sleeping bag, or both if you like. Also bring toiletry's, toothbrush&toothpaste, hairbrush, soap. Stuff like that. Bring flip flops, sneakers, boots, and a bathing suit.
And of course bring helmet and a crop if you need one. (I would bring a crop just in case)

o, and one last thing. If they have bunk beds take a bottom bunk because the top bunks are impossible to make!

You should call the camp or email them if possible. All camps are different, and only they will be able to tell you exactly all the things you will be required to bring.

If you call them, make sure you write down everything they tell you to bring. If you are unsure, ask them questions, only they will be able to tell you for sure.

Here is a list of things you defanitly should bring:

YOUR STUFF~
- proper riding pants (or jeans) [you should bring a few pairs just for riding]
- riding boots
- regular boots you can get dirty in the barn for when your not riding
- everyday clothes/outfits [depending on how long you're staying at the camp]
-all the necesitites you need for hygene, etc.

HORSE STUFF~
- saddle/bridle/polo wraps/etc….whatever you use on your horse
- grooming kit [I'm sure the camp will have some, but you don't want to use other horses' brushes because you don't know if they have some kind of infection]
- any other stuff you use on your horse [shampoo, flyspray (if it's hot where you are going), tack cleaning, etc.]

*NOTE: Take the things you use on an everyday basis and don't be afraid to bring an extra halter/leadrope just incase.

Have fun at camp and don't forget to contact the camp to double-check that you have everything you need! :)

you want to pack enough cloths for the time like if you are going for two weeks you might pack 14 or more shirts and you will probably wan tot bring extra cloths and riding clothing you might want to ask them about bringing a set of show clothing also
you will probably want to bring your own tack since you are bringing your horse because they might not have tack that will properly fit your horse and you won't want him/her getting rubs
also check what kind of food you will be supplied with to see if you need to bring any special food you want your horse to have
i would bring a couple extra halters because you wouldn't want to be caught without one of those
also bring grooming and bathing stuff
you might feel safer bringing some things like vet wrap and poultice I mean the camp will probably have that kind of stuff but just to be safe
but just to be safe i would call the camp and ask them what you are expected to bring

The camp should provide you with a basic list of all equipment and clothing that you will need to bring with you as well as a list of what facilities and services will be available to you. Normally you would need to bring anything your horse will require beyond basic feed and hay. That would mean all tack, boots, suppliments, medications, sheets & blankets, etc.

You should also bring a supply of your horse's favorite treats so that he can settle in as smoothly as possible. Have your horse's shoes checked before you go and make sure that if your horse has any special requirements are far as feed or medications go to bring enough with you for the entire duration of your stay at camp, plus at least a few days extra. Depending on the location of the camp, resupply may not be readily available.

As for yourself, you need to figure on how long you will be there, and what kind of access you will have to laundry facilities. Figure on one change of socks and underwear for at least every other day if you will be able to do laundry, or every day if you won't. Same goes for shirts. For breaches, bring at least three pairs so you will have what to change off into and make sure that your breaches will fit the weather conditions as well as a jacket and a rain jacket. You will need at least one pair of riding boots (either tall boots or paddock boots with half-chaps) and good shoes to wear in the stable area when not riding. Depending on any other activities there are available, you'll also want to bring normal clothing, a bathing suit, etc.
