Whats the difference between horse riding and using ecstasy?
Faith asked:
i think taking ecstasy is a deliberate attempt to alter one's mood with a high risk of addiction & fatal accidents while riding a horse is a healthy, harmless, wholesome hobby that could only turn dangerous if theres an untoward accident.
And don't you think this Prof is very aptly named?

The difference is, one involves eskimos and one doesnt
I'll let you found out which one
well ecstasy is a drug and is real bad for you where as horse riding is a sport which means that it's good for you (well better than ecstasy!)
what's the difference between horse riding and using ectasy?
well you can't swallow a horse.
One is illegal.
One is legal and the other isnt
You cant get the best feeling of your life while riding a horse.
One is good old fashioned exercise and one is an illegal activity, if both have dangers one is taking unknown chemicals into the body and one may result in a fall from a horse.
I would rather my children rode horses as took ecstasy.
I used to take it and it didnt kill me but its not a nice drug really, would never take it again.
doing both at the same time sounds like a blast.
Professor nut must be after tacking a few ecstasy before making this claim, and to add insult to injury he was caught by the quality of the drug, I would like to know what the tabs were laced with ,I mean if you show anger towards horseys after dropping a few disco biscuits , you have been denied getting spasticated
I am sure there is no such person as the Prof, I think they invented him to fit the story. LOL
one is a great way to entertain yourself in a fun way, while feeling free and content, and the other is sitting on top of an animal for no reason.
Horse riding is safer, you have (some) control, it's non addictive, there are no long term effects other than a sore bum and bow legs. and its legal. however both can bite you when you dont expect it.
I ride my horses regularly as you know and with the sun on my back and a stretch of grassy field in front of us i am in heaven. No drug could replicate the excitement I get from that and at the grand old age of 45 I am fit and healthy not like someone who pops ecstasy like sweeties and ends up on the ten o clock news in a body bag.
They're both dangerous in their own ways.
Ask Christopher Reeves.
If you take ecstasy with a girl you have a good chance of getting some action. If you take a girl horseback riding I don't know how good your chances would be.
Horse riding is a preferred technology of 14 year old girls to attain orgasm while not masturbating or having sex. Ecstasy use is a preferred technology of 19 year old boys to avoid orgasm while masturbating or having sex. Hope this clears things up.
I've briefly heard about this and think it's a highly ridiculous statement - though also quite funny.
Since I've taken both ecstacy and had a horse I can compare them quite well. Ecstacy made me feel fantastic. It was a beautiful drug which filled me with love. It was so great, I never took it again. I was scared that I'd never be able to replicate the feeling it gave me and that I'd crave the feeling. So it wasn't harmful to me - but then I'd hardly be classed as a regular user!!
As for horse riding - I fell off on a number of occasions over the course of 12 years. Once my horse kicked me and I couldn't walk for 3 weeks. Another time a horse reared into a tractor on the other side of the road and another time a horse rolled on me - luckily I got my feet out of the stirrups just in time and managed to jump off - however I then had to catch him!!!!!!
So, in my experience I'd have to say horse riding was more dangerous!
However, I won't be giving my children ecstacy taking lessons….
Well, I don't think horse riding contributes to international crime rings, prostitution, burglary, serious impacts to the NHS and society as a whole…
But yeah, obviously the two things are similar if you're completely incapable of rational thought.
That Prof is an idiot, he really should know better than to say things like that in his position.
It's hard to smuggle a horse,into a rave?
