Very concerned. The chinese population is taught that they have no individual worth and that the state is all-important. When they need more energy for their economy, they will have people who will be willing to fight a die. Basically like Islam except without religion and a LOT more power, resources, cohesion.

Worse. They'll make us their underpaid slaves instead of their own population. All that stuff that they manufacture for peanuts and that we pay good money for is going to bite us in the butt any day now. Who bought the last pair of American made Levi's anyway?

Wonder what they're waiting for…

They've already taken Hong Kong and Tibet, and have the typical communist imperialist need to subjugate other peoples and enslave other lands. Taiwan is their next target, and they've already been making threatening gestures that way.

(There are a lot of examples of communist imperialism - USSR-Finland, USSR-Warsaw Pact, USSR Afghanistan, NKorea - SKorea, NVietnam-SVietnam, Cuba-Grenada, etc)

That's why it is good we have friendly relations with India. India is slowly becoming a major force to be reckoned with, and should be able to turn aside Chinese imperialist ambitions. We also need to help Japan build up their defense forces.

Mongolia is SOL, and Russia still has enough to take care of themselves.

Territorial expansion is usually not worth the investment - they know this.

That said, maybe we can convince them to "ethnically cleanse" most of the Middle East. Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Libya…..

Tibet has already been captured but our liberal press won't say anything about it. Taiwan will be first on the platter, after that it's anyones guess.

Do you mean like the U.S.A. is trying to do now… Then why the hell not…

Dane @ 4:59 pm

Yes, it is inevitable, 20 to 30 years down the road. All things being equal. The signifigant demographic problem that will lead to expansion is that due to the breeding policies of the last 25 years, the population consists of 30 men to 1 women. The solitary males are going to need mates.
Taiwan, all the various ….stans. Lest we forget, Gengis Khan ruled all the teritory from Taiwan to Austria in a prior era.

They'll swallow all of Eastern Russia some day.

Remember that in the entire Chinese history, they never took any foreign territory. Hongkong belong to them. It was returned to China after being a British colony for more than a hundred years. Taiwan is also a province of China. I think that China won't take any foreign territory illegally as the U.S. is doing now in Iraq.
