Where is a good summer horse riding camp in the United States?

This summer I really would like to go to a horse riding camp for advanced riders for about 3 or 4 weeks. Any suggestions?

The University of Findlay has an EXELLENT horsemanship camp but it is only for one week. The cost is $600 but that provides everything! Your horses food and stall as well as food and a place for you to sleep. Plus there are activities every night. you can go to findlay.edu and click on equestrain for more info. If you have any other questions you can email me.

Camp Friendship is where I went, it was a lot of fun! I'd also check out Young Rider magazine, they have lots of ads, etc. Then you can contact the camps to get info! Good luck!

GMHA but you have to apply, its amazing and really intense however you need an instructor to write a reccomendation. and you need to own your own horse, GMHA stands for Green Mountain Horse Assosiation.

OK.. This is kinda weird but I live 5 minutes away from River valley ranch and I have been to the University of Findlay Ohio. River valley ranch is very very beginner oriented… Most people that go there have never ridden before…I would not recommend this for an advanced rider. River valley ranch is only western. In contrast… Findlay will have you in tears it is that intense it is an amazing camp for intermediate to advanced riders. It teahces you a lot unlike River valley ranch where it is just like trail rides every day. Findlay is amazing!!!!
and it has western and english let me tell you… there English course is very good and will teach you a lot!
