From what I've heard, there is no way to win in Afghanistan. How are you going to protect every mountain pass and valley? You can't. The best solution would be to at least surround the border so that terrorists can't get out.

I am strong on defense and think we really are in a war with terrorism. But if you want to win a war, you have to pick the battles you're going to fight, and consequently you should only pick the ones you have a pretty good chance of winning. I understand the pain and desire for retribution following 9/11…it wasn't just Bush that got us in there, it was a lot of Democrats too. But I think it is a "no-win" scenario. My grandfather fought in world war 2, cubin crisis, and Korean conflict, He has traced our geneaology , Our family tree back as far as we came from the Ilse of man- we were direct decendants of Genghis Khan maybe thats why I struggle between doing as Jesus would and KILL THEM ALL. Because all the soldiers we flooded into Iraq could've went into Afghanistan and gotten business done by now.
