It was the Arab world that rejected partition. But for that rejection, there would already be a separate Palestinian Arab state - in addition to Jordan which takes up 82% of what was Palestine.

I think everyone needs to be more accurate on the history of this conflict which goes back to the days of Abraham.

I wish there was enough space to give to this continuing question of whether Israel has the right to occupy the land it is in.

How about this: Do we as Americans have the right to occupy the land we currently reside in? After all, native American Indians occupied America long before european nations began to scrounge it's resources for gold, trees, fur and so on. we did take it either by treaty or force. Either way, we took it.

How did the Egyptians come to occupy their country. Do your research.

Iran. Iraq. Afghanistan. Britain. France. Germany. Korea. China. European Countries, east asian countries. All came to be nations by brute force for the most part. It simply happened in the long ago history or recent history. Take your pick.

Israel simply became a part of history we all can identify with. If it won't be given to you, take it by force.
