Why don't you suggest to the Mongolian Board of Tourism to promote Mongolia on TV or through other means? There are so many rival destinations nowadays, Mongolia probably didn't come to their mind.
I really had a great time visiting Mongolia and I hope to go there again one day and eat some more khorkhog.
I agree with Selena all the way.By the way with have good relations with Mongolians But we don't have good relations ANYmore with trolls. And the Turkic tribes don't belong to the Mongolian one.Actually they are SO different genetically. And guess what?Turkic tribes have a very similar DNA with the Indoeuropean. They were and neighbors with Germanic's too.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkic_peoples Turkic's are EURASIAN not ASIAN.
Because China is right next door and has a cheaper market
I travel every summer. I've been to China, Vietnam, Thiland etc, but Mongolia is too expensive for the medium Greek tourist. Besides, I have never seen any film, or advertising video of Mongolia. The tourist agencies don't promote this destination. And, as I said, the major problem is, that it's too expensive (3000 Euros). I don't know if there is any good sightseeing, too.
Who knows:)
But I can see the bond Mongolia-Bulgaria-Greece:)
because it´s the homeland of the Turks
=))
Steppes are not for us. We prefer deserts with Sub-Saharan climate. Something deep inside ties us to Ethiopian waste flats, but yet I could not figure out exactly what it is…
Why not?Inner Mongolia has great landscapes
I d love to visit Mongolia.
If it was closer to Greece, I d go for a trip
