G'day Katie G,

Thanks for your question.

It depends where you are. Looking at weather sites, there are some towns with temperatures ranging from -5 celsius in Gaiutt to a balmy 12 celsius in Dalanzadgad. It might be global warming but Mongolia is probably a place where the residents would welcome it.

Most of the country is hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter, with January averages dropping as low as -30ºC (-22ºF). The country is also subject to occasional harsh climatic conditions known as zud or dzud. Ulaanbaatar has the coldest average temperature of any national capital in the world. The best time to visit is May-September although it can get cold in Mongolia at an time.

I have attached sources for your reference.

Regards
