Sleep-wise, a standard class train features four-berth carriages containing all of the bedding you will need plus towels and other essentials, while first class carriages will carry just two berths.

Moving on from Erlian, you will arrive in Ulan-Bator. The Mongolian capital city has much to see and do, including Terelj National Park where you can take in some stunning scenery, go horse riding and stay in a Ger camp to sample the local food and customs.
